Sinucosta praecursor
Taxonomy
Spiriferina praecursor was named by Zugmayer (1882). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kaisersteffel, which is in a Rhaetian carbonate limestone in the Koessen Formation of Austria.
It was recombined as Mentzelioides praecursor by Dagys (1974); it was recombined as Sinucosta praecursor by Pearson (1977).
