Zardiniopsis subornata

Taxonomy
Naticella subornata was named by Münster (1841). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is St. Cassian (Munster coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Zardiniopsis.

It was recombined as Neritopsis subornata by Kittl (1892); it was recombined as Zardiniopsis subornata by Bandel (2007), Dominici (2024).
