Taxonomy
Miliolipora tamarae was named by Gale et al. (2012) [Holotype: A transverse section of a microspheric form fig- ured on Plate 3, Fig.1. Thin section 186D, sample Beg-8, depository of the Geological Survey of Slovenia, Ljubljana.]. It is extant. Its type locality is Begunjscica reef, Slovenia, which is in a Rhaetian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in Slovenia.
