Rhynchocephalichnus etruscus
Taxonomy
Rhynchocephalichnus etruscus was named by Huene (1941). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Agnano tracksite, Monte Pisano, which is in a Carnian delta plain siltstone/claystone in the Quarziti di Monte Serra Formation of Italy.
It was recombined as Rhynchosauroides etruscus by Demathieu and Haubold (1972).
