Byrrangoceras taimyrense
Taxonomy
Byrrangoceras taimyrense was named by Dagys (1997). Its type specimen is Institute of Ecology, Vilnius N D1/1, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chernokhrebetnaya River, unit 9 talus, eastern Taimyr, which is in a Spathian marine mudstone in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Byrrangoceras.
