Taxonomy
Productus paviei was named by Mansuy (1912). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Between Ban Pak-Lung and Xieng-Men (graywacke), which is in a Capitanian marine sandstone in Laos.
It was recombined as Monticulifera paviei by Waterhouse (1976).
