Cymbospondylus nichollsi
Taxonomy
Cymbospondylus nichollsi was named by Fröbisch et al. (2006). Its type specimen is FMNH PR2251 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cain Mountain, USGS Section 14, which is in an Anisian marine horizon in the Favret Formation of Nevada.
