Platypterygius sachicarum
Taxonomy
Platypterygius sachicarum was named by Paramo (1997). Its type specimen is DON 19671, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Loma Pedro Luis, which is in an Aptian marine horizon in the Paja Formation of Colombia.
