Obaichthys decoratus
Taxonomy
Obaichthys decoratus was named by Wenz and Brito (1992). It is not extant. Its type specimen is DGM 1336 P, a skeleton. Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Obaichthys.
