Taxonomy

Burmirhynchia athiensis was named by Rouselle (1965). It is not extant.

Synonyms

Eurysites transversus was named by Cooper (1989). It is not extant. Its type locality is Beladin, S1447, which is in a Bajocian/Callovian shallow subtidal limestone in the Dhruma Formation of Saudi Arabia.

It was synonymized subjectively with Burmirhynchia athiensis by Alméras et al. (2010).
