Galileomys antelucanus
Taxonomy
Galileomys antelucanus was named by Vucetich and Kramarz (2003). Its type specimen is MLP 82-V-2-105, a mandible (left partial mandible with i2 and p4-m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gran Barranca - southern cliff of lake ColhuĆ© HuapĆ, which is in a Colhuehuapian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
