Culebrasuchus mesoamericanus
Taxonomy
Culebrasuchus mesoamericanus was named by Hastings et al. (2013). Its type specimen is UF 244434, a partial skeleton (Skull and three cervical vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Lirio Norte, which is in a Hemingfordian shallow subtidal sandstone in the Culebra Formation of Panama. It is the type species of Culebrasuchus.
