Melanosuchus fisheri
Taxonomy
Melanosuchus fisheri was named by Medina (1976). Its type specimen is MCNC 243, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Corralito Locality, which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in the Urumaco Formation of Venezuela.
