Gryposuchus croizati
Taxonomy
Gryposuchus croizati was named by Riff and Aguilera (2008). Its type specimen is MCN-URU-2002-77, a skull (Complete skull and mandibles), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 0.5 km North of Quebrada El Picache and 50 m East of Chiguaje fault, which is in a Miocene fluvial-deltaic claystone/sandstone in the Urumaco Formation of Venezuela.
