Gondwanasuchus scabrosus
Taxonomy
Gondwanasuchus scabrosus was named by Marinho et al. (2013). Its type specimen is UFRJ DG 408-R, a partial skeleton (Partial skull, mandible and 5 cervical vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Buriti Farm, Itapecuru-Mirim (palaeosol 1), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian alluvial fan sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.
