Crocodylus palaeindicus
Taxonomy
Crocodylus palaeindicus was named by Falconer and Walker (1859). Its type specimen is GSI E-31, a skull (nearly complete skull), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Perim Island, which is in a Tortonian terrestrial horizon in the Piram Conglomerate Formation of India.
