Sulcoretepora orientalis
Taxonomy
Sulcoretepora orientalis was named by Ernst et al. (2008). Its type specimen is SMF 2588 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Batain Coast south of Al Hadd, locality 2, which is in a Cisuralian reef, buildup or bioherm bafflestone/floatstone in the Saal Formation of Oman.
