Taxonomy
Streblotrypa (Streblotrypa) binodata was named by Ernst et al. (2008). Its type specimen is SMF 2381 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Batain Coast south of Al Hadd, blocks west, locality 1, which is in a Cisuralian reef, buildup or bioherm bafflestone/floatstone in the Saal Formation of Oman.
