Cricosaurus lithographicus
Taxonomy
Cricosaurus lithographicus was named by Herrera et al. (2013). Its type specimen is MOZ-PV 5787, a skeleton (Skull and postcrania), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Ministerio Quarry, Los Catutos, which is in a Tithonian/Tithonian marine limestone in the Vaca Muerta Formation of Argentina.
