Romeosaurus sorbinii
Taxonomy
Romeosaurus sorbinii was named by Palci et al. (2013). Its type specimen is NHMV-V7481, a partial skull (Two maxillae, the left dentary, frontal, posterior end of the left mandibular ramus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is S. Anna di Alfaedo quarries (helvetica Zone), which is in a Turonian/Turonian marine limestone in the Scaglia Rossa Veneta Formation of Italy.
