Brochuchus pigotti
Taxonomy
Crocodylus pigotti was named by Tchernov and Van Couvering (1978). Its type specimen is NHMUK PV R7729, a skull (Almost complete skull without lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shackleton Gully, which is in a Burdigalian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Hiwegi Formation of Kenya.
It was recombined as Brochuchus pigotti by Conrad et al. (2013).
