Mourasuchus amazonensis
Taxonomy
Mourasuchus amazonensis was named by Price (1964). Its type specimen is DGM 526-R, a skull (Complete skull and jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Juruá River, which is in a Miocene fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Solimoes Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Mourasuchus.
