Anchura phaba
Taxonomy
Anchura phaba was named by Elder and Saul (1996). Its type specimen is USNM 468578 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic M8611, east of Pigeon Point, which is in a Campanian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Pigeon Point Formation of California.
