Neorthonema simoni
Taxonomy
Neorthonema simoni was named by Nützel (2007). Its type specimen is BSPG 2007 XXIII 7 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Misurina near Cortina d'Ampezzo (BSPG coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Neorthonema.
