Yungkangichthys macrodon
Taxonomy
Yungkangichthys macrodon was named by Yabumoto (1994). Its type specimen is KMNH VP 100,183, a partial skeleton (anterior part of the body), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Fourth formation (W4, KA-0), which is in a Neocomian terrestrial sandstone/shale in the Third Formation of Japan.
