Taxonomy
Neospirifer campbelli was named by Maxwell (1964). Its type specimen is UQ F43049 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L1888, Yarrol, which is in a Serpukhovian marine siliciclastic in the Branch Creek Formation of Australia.
