Taxonomy
Hildaites bisulcatus was named by Sassaroli and Venturi (2012). Its type specimen is MSA351 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Marconessa quarry section 2, sample 3a, which is in a Falciferum carbonate limestone in the Bugarone Formation of Italy.
