Harpoceras klimakomphalum was named by Vacek (1886). It is not extant.

It was recombined as Eudmetoceras (Euaptetoceras) klimakomphalum by Westermann (1969); it was recombined as Pseudaptetoceras klimakomphalum by Kovács (2009).
