Venaticosuchus rusconii
Taxonomy
Venaticosuchus rusconii was named by Bonaparte (1970). Its type specimen is PVL 2578, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Agua de Las Catas, Ischigualasto, which is in a Tuvalian terrestrial horizon in the Ischigualasto Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Venaticosuchus.
