Schizaster panamensis
Taxonomy
Schizaster panamensis was named by Jackson (1917). Its type specimen is USNM 324461, a test, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 7294 - Gatun [middle Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian marine sandstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama.
