Taxonomy
Reptonoditrypa abadehnensis was named by Schäfer et al. (2003). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wali-Abad reef, which is in a Sevatian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Nayband Formation of Iran.
