Taxonomy
Fistulipora maanensis was named by Yang (1956). Its type specimen is NIGP 8168 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is BY167, Zhongling hill, Maanshan area, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
