Gulosaurus helmi

Taxonomy
Gulosaurus helmi was named by Cuthbertson et al. (2013). Its type specimen is TMP 89.127.3, a partial skeleton (part and counterpart slabs that preserve a partial skeleton of a juvenile ichthyopterygian that includes a near-complete skull and the anterior half of the post), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wapiti Lake, Locality D, which is in a Smithian marine siltstone/limestone in the Sulphur Mountain Formation of Canada.
