Allognathosuchus mlynarskii
Taxonomy
Chrysochampsa mlynarskii was named by Estes (1988). Its type specimen is YPM-PU 17258, a partial skull (Incomplete skull & 4 osteoderms), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is White Butte/Turtle Valley, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial claystone in the Golden Valley Formation of North Dakota. It is the type species of Chrysochampsa.
It was recombined as Allognathosuchus mlynarskii by Lucas and Sullivan (2004); it was misspelled as Chrysochampsa mylnarskii by Cossette and Tarailo (2024).
