Eosemionotus ceresiensis
Taxonomy
Eosemionotus ceresiensis was named by Bürgin (2004). Its type specimen is PIMUZ T357, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Point 902, Monte San Giorgio, unspecified bed, which is in an Illyrian/Fassanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite/shale in the Besano Formation of Switzerland.
