Taxonomy
Permophricodothyris incerta was named by Zhan (1989). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xikou, Zhen'an County (Yundoutan Fm), which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the Yundoutan Formation of China.
