Taxonomy
Miltoceras involutum was named by Meister et al. (2011). Its type specimen is MHN75374 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Jebel Bou Rharraf, bed 214/215, which is in a Jamesoni carbonate limestone in Morocco.
