Taxonomy
Nanopodiscus tenuis was named by Ellenberger (1970). It is not extant. Its type locality is Masitise tracksite (zone B/2), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial sandstone in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho.
It was recombined as Batrachopus tenuis by Olsen and Galton (1984).
