Ameghinichnus fortis
Taxonomy
Grypopentapodiscus fortis was named by Ellenberger (1970). It is not extant. Its type locality is Moyeni tracksite (zone B/2), which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial sandstone in the Elliot Formation of Lesotho.
It was recombined as Ameghinichnus fortis by Olsen and Galton (1984).
