Brevisaurichthys osseus
Taxonomy
Brevisaurichthys osseus was named by Beltan (1972). Its type specimen is M37, a partial skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Montral and Alcover Quarries (MSB), which is in a Ladinian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal dolomite in the Muschelkalk Formation of Spain.
