Taxonomy
Coroniceras freboldi was named by Sun and Zhu (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shiwan, Shengtang, Kaiping County, which is in a Bucklandi/Semicostatum marine siltstone/mudstone in the Jinji Formation of China.
