Taxonomy
Arpadites (Steinmannites) noetlingi was named by von Mojsisovics (1896). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bambanag, Halorites Beds, which is in a Norian carbonate limestone in India.

It was recombined as Eosteinmannites noetlingi by Tatzreiter (1980), Tatzreiter (1981).
