Atomodesma acuta
Taxonomy
Kolymia acuta was named by Lutkevitch and Lobanova (1960). Its type specimen is TsNIGR 273/7443, a shell (Cast of closed valves), and it is a cast. Its type locality is Vas'-Yaga River, Pai-Khoy Mountains, which is in a Kungurian marine siliciclastic in the Tabyo Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Maitaia (Mytilidesmatella) acuta by Astafieva (1989) and Astafieva (1993); it was recombined as Maitaia acuta by Biakov (2008); it was recombined as Atomodesma acuta by Biakov (2013).
