Taxonomy
Hokkaidoconcha tehamaensis was named by Kiel et al. (2008). Its type specimen is UCMP 555092 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USNM loc. 23051, Paskenta, which is in a Tithonian/Tithonian marine mudstone in the Stony Creek Formation of California.
