Ducanichthys aculeatus

Taxonomy
Ducanichthys aculeatus was named by Bürgin et al. (1991). Its type specimen is PIMUZ A/I 1140, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Ducanfurgga 4, which is in a Fassanian basinal (carbonate) lime mudstone in the Prosanto Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Ducanichthys.
