Taxonomy
Carinathilda bathoniensis was named by Grundel (1997). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bore Rogätz 11/63, depth 434,2-443,8 m, Saxony-Anhalt, which is in a Bathonian offshore siliciclastic in Germany.

It was recombined as Angulathilda bathoniensis by Gründel and Nützel (2013).
