Taxonomy
Carinathilda squiresi was named by Kaim (2004). Its type specimen is ZPAL Ga.9/270, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sample N1, Wạwał clay pit, which is in a Valanginian offshore claystone in Poland.
It was recombined as Angulathilda squiresi by Gründel and Nützel (2013).
