Taxonomy
Turrithilda angulata was named by Grundel (1997). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bore Liepe 1/64, depth 321,7-324,7 m, Brandenburg, which is in a Callovian offshore siliciclastic in Germany.
It was recombined as Mathilda angulata by Kaim (2004), Gründel and Nützel (2013).
