Chronostrophonella terranova
Taxonomy
Chronostrophonella terranova was named by Cocks (2008). Its type specimen is BC 58377, a shell (internal and external moulds of a dorsal valve), and it is a mold. Its type locality is 200 m east of Newlands Farm in the Craighead Inlier, which is in an Aeronian deep subtidal shelf siltstone in the Newlands Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Chronostrophonella.
