Eopentamerus inexpectatus
Taxonomy
Eopentamerus inexpectatus was named by Cocks (2008). Its type specimen is BB 33885, a shell (dorsal internal mould), and it is a mold. Its type locality is 200 m east of Newlands Farm in the Craighead Inlier, which is in an Aeronian deep subtidal shelf siltstone in the Newlands Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Eopentamerus.
